Trust, privacy, accessibility

Civic technology must earn trust before it asks for participation.

CityMoo is designed for EU expectations around privacy, child-appropriate participation, transparent moderation, accessibility, and accountable handling of community data.

GDPR accountability

EWORX S.A. is the data controller for CityMoo platform operation, beta registrations, app accounts, support, security, analytics, and product improvement. Municipalities and NGOs may act as independent or joint controllers for their own official pilot activities, depending on the pilot arrangement.

Clear privacy choices

Precise location is used only when the user enables it, especially for issue reporting. Users can still participate with manual or approximate location where supported.

Young citizens

CityMoo encourages younger citizens to learn civic participation. Age checks, guardian consent, child-friendly information, and safety controls will be applied where EU or national rules require them.

Transparent moderation

Users must follow community rules. Illegal content, harassment, hate speech, threats, privacy violations, spam, manipulation, and abusive political activity can be removed or restricted.

Accessibility

The product should be tested against WCAG expectations as it matures, with plain-language content, keyboard-friendly interfaces, readable contrast, and accessible mobile flows.

Security and minimization

CityMoo should collect only data needed for civic participation, apply role-based access, protect administrative functions, and keep auditability around moderation and account actions.
